About the author and illustrator

Emma Farrarons is a French illustrator and graphic designer based in London. Born in the tropical island of Cebu in the Philippines, Emma grew up in Paris. She was trained in illustration at the Edinburgh College of Art and l'École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
Her favourite art medium are Japanese calligraphy pens, watercolours, markers,
graphite and colouring pencils.

Having completed a textile and printmaking course at Capellagården school in Sweden, Emma has developed a particular love for pattern and fabric print. She is inspired by French, Scandinavian and Japanese design. 

Emma's Mindfulness Colouring Book series has sold over a million copies around the world and been translated in 23 languages. Her latest book The Art of Mindfulness is a colouring and activity book which will be publishing January 2018 by Boxtree.
